Trip to the Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo from Luxor

At 7:00 a.m. (almost), the guide will drop by your hotel in a private car to pick you up for a tour of 2 temples, Edfu and Kom Ombo.

The Temple of Edfu is considered one of the finest temples in Egypt. The temple is “only” a little over two thousand years old and was built in the Greco-Roman era. In terms of size, preservation, and beauty, this temple is usually placed in third place after the Karnak temple and the Medinet Abu temple in Luxor. The temple has perfectly preserved inscriptions and wall drawings, which have become invaluable sources of knowledge about ancient Egypt.

Then you go to the Kom Ombo Temple. Temple of Kom Ombo, located right on the coast 50 km north of Aswan and 140 km south of Luxor. The Kom-Ombo temple is unique in that it is a double temple dedicated to two gods at once, half of it is dedicated to the god Sebek, who ruled the fertility and the flood of the Nile, the second half is dedicated to the god Horus, the god of paradise and the horizon in ancient Egypt.

At the end of the day, we will take you back to your hotel.

• 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled in  07 days prior to the check-in date.
• 25% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled in 10 days prior to the check-in date.
